This is a rare opportunity to make your mark and take Life Education in the Wairarapa to a new level. You’ll work across the region with the 67 primary and intermediate schools in the Wairarapa and the southern Hawkes Bay region, building relationships and in each case undertake a shared planning approach to understand their needs and construct support accordingly.
We’ve made significant strides to ensure we’re at the forefront of education in NZ, and so we’re looking for a motivated, innovative and talented teacher looking to take the next step beyond a classroom and be part of this journey in the Wairarapa.
The successful applicant will be a qualified teacher, with full registration and be able to demonstrate sound knowledge of the NZ Curriculum. It is advantageous if you have work experience outside the classroom to help demonstrate relationship management skills. But above all, we’re looking for a passionate teacher who wants to make a difference in children's lives.
As our local face, your ability to build relationships with local schools and understand them as the customer will be key to successfully meeting their needs and ultimately assist with their children’s learning. You will also have strong organisational skills, enabling you to plan each term in advance, maximise your teaching time and achieve our goal of reaching every child, every year.
We’ll help you develop your teaching skills, we offer significant ongoing professional development and working with us enables you to retain your teacher registration.
To get the very best person we’re taking a flexible approach to whether it is part time .8fte or full time position.
We want to hear from you now, so send your CV and cover letter to email@example.com. For any questions contact Michelle Dow 0800 454 333.
