SMART$ Online

SMART$ Online is a free, interactive tool to help teenagers develop financial literacy. 

The tool consists of four modules, covering essential financial literacy topics such as Debt, Savings, Deferred Payment, and KiwiSaver. Each module features an entertaining 2.5 minute video performed by actors. The video is followed up by five to eight quiz questions based on the video story and money topic, encouraging students to test their understanding and knowledge. 

SMART$ Online has been designed for teachers and education providers to use during mentor, health, or form time and can also be used across subject lessons, holiday programmes and work readiness sessions. It can be used as a stand-alone resource or alongside Life Education Trust’s SMART$ theatre-in-education programme.
