Life Education Trust provides health education programmes for level one to eight classes at primary and intermediate schools. These units, linked to the Health and Physical Education Curriculum, are designed to assist class room teachers with cross curriculum planning. It is suggested that teachers:-
Negotiate with the Life Education Trust educator at the staff liaison meeting the programme to be taught. Print the appropriate resource unit for planning purposes. Select appropriate preparatory activities to teach prior to the mobile classroom's visit. Prepare activities to follow-up the Life Education lessons. Where appropriate, encourage children to complete the Take Home Workbooks.
