Brainy Bunch (Year 5 & 6)

Outline

The brainy bunch are introduced to us in this programme, they being the brain, lungs, heart, muscles, stomach and intestines. We meet Alex, an eleven year old boy, and see how his brainy bunch are affected by varying activities throughout a day. The importance of breakfast is discussed and the effect of stress on the brainy bunch is looked at in depth. We explore appropriate ways to deal with stress and/or peer pressure. We look at aggressive, assertive and passive behaviour and the probable results of the varying behaviours.
