Caring For Our Body (Pre-School)

Outline Children are invited to enjoy the mobile classroom environment, meet with one of our educators and be introduced to the much loved Harold. We explore the basic needs required to keep ourselves happy, healthy and safe.
Key messages
  • We all need to eat food, drink water and breathe clean fresh air.
  • We are all special and welcome in Harold's classroom.
Focus We need to keep clean, get lots of sleep, exercise, have love, keep safe and have shelter to keep our bodies healthy.
The children learn to
  1. Describe our body's needs.
  2. Understand some things we can do to stay safe and healthy.
  3. Become comfortable with the mobile classroom environment and the educator.
