Life Education Learning Modules
All Together (Year 1 & 2)
| Outline | Students discuss that we are all special and unique and need to look after ourselves and others. Harold asks us to look after his animal puppet friends, making sure they are happy and healthy through ensuring the basic needs are met (food, water, oxygen, shelter, exercise, washing, sleep, love and safety). We watch a short story which emphasises that everybody is special and needs to be looked after. Where possible the link is also made that we need to look after the environment and the animals that live in it with us, after all we all need the same basic needs. |
