Life Education Trust Western Bay of Plenty (WBOP) was originally formed in 1994. Some of the original founders of WBOP Trust are still part of our Trust today and continue to contribute to its success in this area.
In 2011, we reached nearly 13,000 students and visited 49 schools in this area. WBOP Trust has many community sponsors including Toyota Pacific and Grace Hospital. This also includes all the local trucking companies who move Harold around from school to school. Please also see the supporting companies below who help in this area. The area we cover is from Katikati to Pukehina.
Our Trust is supported by local community people. They are like minded people who believe in the benefits of mobile classrooms and all the Lilfe Education Trust programmes that are delivered to our schools. The Trust is committed to seeing LET continue in our schools.
We have grown over the years and we now have two mobile classrooms to support.
Debbie Given is in her fourth year as Chairperson for the WBOP Trust. She comes from a business background and is currently a Director of two successful companies in New Zealand. She is well supported by Geoff Barlow, Vice Chairperson, who has a background in Banking and who is currently a Real Estate Agent for Bayleys in Tauranga.
We have many supporting Trustees, as listed below, and we welcome you to contact any of them to find out more about WBOP LET.
