Amazing Honda Educator Car Story
Following a lucky draw for every person in New Zealand who test drove a Honda last year, a New Plymouth man won the use of a Honda Insight Hybrid for 3 years.
The person said that he did not require the car and Steak happened to be in the New Plymouth Honda Showroom when the news of the draw came through. So the deal was done!
Many thanks to the man who allowed us to use the car he would have had. Our Educator, Abbey Howard, will have the benefits of driving it.
Large Harold Costumes
These are made in Taranaki by Steak and Christine and their family.
Over 40 costumes have been sold to various New Zealand Trusts and the National Service Centre.
Cut-Out Plywood Harolds
Inspired by the cut-out sheep on the roadside at Tirau, the Taranaki Trust added a body and legs to the Harold logo and began to make 2.4m high hardwood marine ply cut-out Harolds. A great ongoing fundraiser.
These are now made by the inmates of the New Plymouth Prison.
