Last year we worked in over 22 schools within the Kapiti and Horowhenua areas. These schools included:
Raumati South, Paraparaumu Beach, Waikanae, Levin North School, Te Ra, Kapiti Primary, Otaki, St Peter Chanel, Otaki Health Camp, Manakau, St Joseph’s, Kapanui, Levin , Foxton Beach, St Mary’s Foxton, Foxton, Levin East, Waitohu, Levin Intermediate, Poroutawhao and Tokomaru. Harold and I have had so much fun at all of these schools, teaching social relationships, food & nutrition, self esteem, drug prevention, and body knowledge modules.
In Term 2, at Kapiti School we held ‘Harold’s Breakfast’ for its 300 students. Both students and teachers were pleased with the nutritious breakfast kindly donated by Pak n Save and served by our trustees; Mark Rouse, Stephen Burnett, Carol and Malcolm Leeming, Graeme Pentecost, Garry Good and Shayne O’Hagan.
