We work as a team. There are 39 local Community Trusts around New Zealand. Each Trust has a mobile classroom (in some cases two) and an educator. The Trust is run by volunteers who are dedicated, hard working individuals who have an interest in building a better world for our children. Each year they raise enough funds to keep their mobile classroom operating in your area.
Most New Zealand Red Cross members like to work in a team and so they join one of the over 120 Red Cross branches and groups around New Zealand.Click on an area in the map below to see where they are and what they do, and to join a branch or group near you. Or if there's no branch or group near you, you are welcome to start one - talk to your area council.
Branches are more formal (with a President, Secretary and Treasurer) and manage their own accounts. Groups are less formal (simply have a coordinator) and any funds are managed through a Red Cross area ofClick on the map below to see where they are and what they do, and to join a Trust near you.
